Stakeholders resign from Kwara PDP with thousands of followers, say party full of abnormalities

A zonal chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ilorin West, Kwara State, Mr Muhammed Jamiu Akinlotan, has resigned from the party, citing abnormalities that were left unresolved as reason for his action.

Mr Akinlotan was also joined in resigning from the party by a former ward youth leader, Mr Sadallahi Yunus Ajagbe.

Both of them are leaving with droves of their supporters.

A gale of defections and resignations have been hitting the opposition party lately, which is losing its stakeholders to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This may not be unconnected to the bad and poor treatment meted out to them in the party which they said they have laboured for.

The APC in the state continues to increase in number, as defectors from PDP, SDP and other parties testify to the great works done by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
