The Nigeria Police, Ogun State command has alerted the general populace to be wary of the nefarious activities of one Timothy Abayomi  a.k.a ID.

The said Abayomi Timothy is a travel agent who engages in facilitation of travel documents for intending travellers to overseas countries.

Our correspondent gathered that Mr. Timothy Abayomi is currently undergoing investigation at the Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta over an allegation of Fraudulent Act/ Child Trafficking. A petition was reported to have been submitted at the State command demanding the arrest, investigation and possible prosecution of Mr. Timothy over misrepresentation of an intending student who was in need of visa in order to further her studies in the United Kingdom.

In the petition signed by one Ronke Junaid, Timothy was alleged to have collected the sum of Four Million Naira from her in order to help her facilitate student visa for her sister; Zainab Olanike Kareem but reneged on their agreement and betrayed the trust they had in him by fraudulently adding another name to her sister's application as dependant without the knowledge of her sister. The act was said to have made the British Embassy denied the applicant the student visa sought.

When contacted over the telephone, the police image maker in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the arrest but, pleaded for more time for the police to complete their investigation in order not to impede investigation.
