A United States trained real estate expert, Prince Adeyemi Babatunde Adelaja has emerged Coordinator of Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) for Ijebu East, Ijebu North and Ogun Waterside federal constituency.

Prince Adelaja, while answering questions from journalists at the event asserted that his emergence as Coordinator for Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) is a call to further serve humanity.

Speaking on the performance of Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration and why he should be supported for second term in office, Adelaja said the governor has proved many skeptics wrong recording massive achievements across all the sectors of the economy.

According to him, it is now obvious and easy to conclude that, Gov Dapo Abiodun, with his avalanche of achievements remained a role model in good governance and whose major concern revolves around enhancing the economic prosperity of the state and lifting many residents out of poverty.

He explained further that it is the quality of the governor’s work and dedicated commitment to return smiles to the faces of residents of the state that laid the foundation of his desire to also replicate same good works for the benefit of the people of Ijebu East, Ijebu North and Ogun Waterside federal and the state at large after winning the coming 2023 general elections.

Speaking earlier, the convener of the group, Mr Armstrong 'Tope Akintunde in his keynote address explained that it is a thing of joy to have seen Gov Abiodun running the affairs of the state without the prism of vindictive or partisan politics.

The Iperu Remo born real estate merchant added that "it is quite evident in the decision of the governor to complete many abandoned projects of immediate past government of Sen Ibikunle Amosun despite the former governor’s stiff opposition to Abiodun’s emergence as the governor of the state as well as the resuscitated Agro-Cargo Airport project started long ago in 2008 by the PDP government of Otunba Gbenga Daniel”.

Akintunde said ”I am particularly excited about the bold step taken by Gov Abiodun to kick start the long abandoned multibillion naira Agro-Cargo Airport project. It’s a project with huge potentials to redefine positively the socio-economics dynamics of the state. It will create jobs in their thousands, open up the state for more investment, increase revenue generation for the state, boosts the agricultural sector and ultimately enhance the economic prosperity of the residents of the state”.

"It is also pertinent to note that Gov Abiodun in this coming 2023 general elections will win without boundaries, reasons we're mobilising thousands for his second term bid", Akintunde asserted.
