National Chairman of the Labour Party Comrade Julius Abure has formally welcome the former Anambra state governor Mr. Peter Obi and his to the party stating that the stage is now set to rescue and take back Nigeria in 2023.
The National Chairman in a statement made available to newsmen hinted that the grand entrance of Mr. Peter Obi and his supporters into the Labour Party had also confirmed that the 2023 election is as good as won by the Labour party been the political alternatives to the ruling APC and PDP,
He stated that evident have shown that Nigerians are extremely tired of the maladministation of the APC and PDP hence the support for the Labour party.
Comrade Abure said “Therefore, in the light of the crystalizing rainbow coalition in the Labour Party, we wish to invite all well meaning Nigerians, including Women, Youths, Physically Challenged, the Poor and the well to do, among others to immediately join forces with the Labour Party to save Nigeria from the heightening insecurity and collapse of the country sequel to the incompetent rulers of Nigeria”.
The Labour Party Chairman reaffirmed the party’s resolve and commitment to it’s Manifesto and programmes in line with the Labour Charter of Demand and Policy initiated by the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC and Trade Union Congress, TUC.
The Chairman also pledged the party’s adoption of the Rescue Agenda of the 3rd Force Movement of Nigeria initiated by the National Consultative Front, NCFront led by Prof. Pat Utomi whom he hinted endorsed Labour Party as the Productivity hub for the 3rd Force Mega Rescue Platform for the 2023 elections with over 20 million membership.
Comrade Abure reiterated the unalloyed commitment of the party to Labour Charter of Demand and Policy and 3rd Force’ Alternative Agenda to rescue Nigeria from Misrule, Poverty, Hunger Hardship and unemployment.
