The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is currently in Kano as part of his consultation for the 2023 Presidency.

Tinubu arrived in Kano to a warm reception by leaders, members and delegates of the party.

The state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, led a retinue of party leaders to receive Tinubu at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).

All members of the entourage including the governor all donned uniform and caps with Tinubu’s emblem in a convoy consisting of over 20 motorbikes and more than 60 vehicles.

Despite the heavy rainfall, the entrance of the airport was packed with supporters and the convoy struggled to make it out.

The presidential aspirant, who was expected in Kano by 11am, did not arrive till 5pm due to heavy rainfall in the city.

Kano is seen as the stronghold of Tinubu with even another presidential aspirant, Rotimi Amaechi on Wednesday telling Ganduje that people in APC already knew where his loyalty was.
