Ogun: Former Ijebu North LG Chairman, Adebayo Adebola Adekoya Declares For House of Representatives

The erstwhile Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government, Adebayo Adebola Adekoya has made public his intention to represent Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun waterside at the Federal House of Representatives ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Hon Adekoya, who declared his plan to run for the green chambers on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), said his intention was borne out of his zeal to create change and bring development to the society.

The former local government Chairman said he took the decision after due consultations with the people of his federal constituency, leaders, friends, families, associates and party stakeholders in the area. 

He further revealed that he had garnered reasonable experience in governance, as a lawmaker and head of a Council to be able to impact positively on his federal constituency.

Adebayo Adekoya, who hails from Ijebu-Igbo area of Ijebu North Local Government had occupied several political positions in Ijebu North. 

It could be recalled that his political career started as a ward Councillor, before proceeding to be the Secretary to the local government in Ijebu North, and later won the election that brought him in as the Chairman of same local government. He later served as a Senior Legislative aide to Senator Lekan Mustapha of Ogun East Senatorial District.

Hon Adekoya currently prides himself in the properties and estate management industry and his company Whitewhales Global Services Limited fast becoming a leading brand in Nigeria and beyond.
