Caleb University partners banks, manufacturers, organises National Intellectual Development Project

Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, in conjunction with Zenith Bank Plc, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Eco Bank Plc, UBA Plc, De Millers Farms, Fan Milk of Nigeria Plc (FMN PLC), Golden Penny Foods, Rite Foods, Checkers Africa Ltd.,  and Imota Local Government (host community), has perfected plans to present the National Intellectual Development Project 2022 (NIDP, 2022) which features Career Talk and National Debate Competition.

Themed “Stand Out”, the debate and career-oriented initiative designed to *stimulate and develop the Intellectual Capacity of Nigerian Secondary School students is scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:45pm at the Multipurpose* Hall of Caleb University Imota Lagos.


According to a release signed by Olawale Adekoya, an
Information, Media and Publication specialist on behalf of the University, the NIDP is strategically designed to engage 2,000 SS2 and SS3 students from 100 Secondary Schools drawn from the six Geopolitical Zones of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


The 2,000 direct participants, along with the miliions in the global virtual audience, who joins via www.calebuniversity.edu.ng will have the golden opportunity  to explore career pathways, discover new opportunities and connect directly with student leaders, scholars, statesmen and Captains of Industry, including an Executive Director of Zenith Bank Plc.

Caleb University, the pioneer Private University in Lagos State- the commercial nerve of Nigeria- and Africa's Best Private University In Research and Entrepreneurship Development, packaged the Debate and Career Expo 2022 along with its corporate sponsors, with the fundamental objective of producing dynamic students who are proficient in the 5 “Cs” of 21st century innovative skills of debating, which include critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and consciousness, driven by the Core Values of Caleb University.
 
The winners of the Inaugural Edition of the competition will smile home with the Star Prize of N1m cash, while the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th placed schools will receive 250K, 200K and 150K, respectively.
