He said on the fateful day, the late Rofiat was asked to cook beans that the family was to eat on Friday evening.
"It was around 7.00 pm when she received a call that she should come to OkeAregba by her boyfriend, Mustakeem Balogun, she quickly dropped what she was doing and left.
She also borrowed her friend's slippers, telling her that she would returned in a jiffy.
We know my sister was hypnotized as she had not gone out like that before.
Speaking on how the two came to know each other, Samuel Okeowo said,
" When Rofiat left Ilesa to live with our mother in Abeokuta about two years ago following the death of her father who happens to be my step father, she usually attend the mosque together with Mustakeem, it was there they met. Mustakeem father owns the mosque at IdiApe area in Abeokuta. My mother warned her because she was underage, but they were still seeing each other secretly.
Rofiat was a fashion designer apprentice but hardly goes out after returning from work, but we could not deduce reasons why she had to live what she was doing that Friday evening to leave for where she was gruesomely murdered.
Speaking further, Samuel said
"Mustakeem father is a herbalist, in fact in that house there is a man that do take care of people with brain issue, so Mustakeem must have stolen the books used by his father to treat sick people.

While thanking the Police for acting swiftly in apprehending all the culprits, Samuel said he and the family has absolute confidence in the police in ensuring that his sister's assailant did not go unpunished.
