TB Joshua's death: Pay attention to your health, Pastors told

By Our Correspondent

Popular Pastor in Ogun State, Pastor Olayiwola  Mercy has urged other Nigerian  Pastors to always take Proper care of their health.

The general overseer of Divine Universal Churches of Christ advised them to always go for check up in order to know the state of their health.

Pastor mercy noted that the death of the son of Adeboye and TB Joshua was as a result of too much stress.

He said "The death of the two Pastors was as a result of stress, many pastors have died in the past due to heart failure, When your heart stop working that's the end.
I posted on my page on Facebook ( Divine Chanel) that pastor should take care of themselves. If you die another man will take care of the pulpit.

''Many pastors are decieving themselves thinking that the more they work the great the gain, no, sincerity matters. Look at pastor Dare Adeboye, he came from service and went inside room and died compare to T.B. Joshua, they both died of heart failure.

"That is why I said that pastor should take care of themselves, not  all Service we  must attend to, not all visitors we must  attend to, not everything  we must attend. Health check up is very important every or two times in a month.

''Secondly, I want to correct one misinterpretation in Bible by some illiterate pastors that nobody is in heaven at present. When you die you will be buried and remain in the ground till rapture I These 4: 14 ff. Therefore don't die prematurely. Dying in the work of Christ don't guarantee your heavenly kingdom, those that will enter must be born again. Pastoral work is the most stressful one therefore, pastor should make their health the most priority.( Psalm 104:14-15. I Timothy 5:23)
May Christ bless and be with us.
