The free optical and eye surgery services embarked upon by Treasure House of God in partnership with  Glorious Church, United States of America saw hundreds trooping to the venue with medical personnels attending to their needs.

Speaking in an interview at the sideline of the program, the Setman, Treasure House of God, Pastor Seye Senfuye said, the project was one of the Churches’ effort aimed at providing health facilities in support of government’s vision and drive towards providing quality medical services to the people

He said, "the Churches, with this Optical and Surgical Treatment project tagged “Medical Mission 2021” will provide free eye glasses and on-the spot medication for a number of beneficiaries, irrespective of faith and clime".

Senfuye said the Churches chose to organise and sponsor the event because of the need to provide medical service to the needy in the society.

"We are focusing on the poor and vulnerable because we know the rich can take care of their medical bills. The needy in our society need a hand because we are aware that many of them cannot afford their medical treatment".

He said "the 2-day free Optical and Surgical treatment was conceptualised to cater for 600 people who will be provided with glasses and surgical operations to be handled by Eye Foundation at reasonably price".

Senfuye said the free medical facility was open to all without any form of discrimination, whether Muslims, Christian or others. "We are particular about assisting needy Nigerians and not concerned about sets. Originally, we targeted 600 people, but if the need to accommodate more people arises, we will give it a consideration".

The Lead Pastor of Glorious Church, United States of America, Dr. Omotayo Orederu said his church choses to partner with Treasure House of God to give a hand of fellowship to the needy by organising and sponsoring the 2-day Optical and Surgical treatment.

He said he had been involved in giving free Medical services in the United States of America and other parts of the world. "We have done it many times in some parts of Nigeria, including, Ikenne, but we resolved to collaborate with Treasure House of God this time around.

Orederu said, he was connected to Pastor Seye Senfuye, the Setman of Treasure House of God because, he found him as a man who hears from God and promptly obeys His commandments.
