The United States President, Donald Trump, has said the 2020 US election is far from over as votes were still being counted.
Trump in a statement Saturday rejected the victory of the President-elect, Joe Biden who was declared winner after he clinched 284 electoral college votes
He said, “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. The simple truth is that the election is far from over.”
The Republican candidate said this in a statement shortly after the media projected the victory of the former Vice-President.
He said the election was deeply flawed and he would be heading to court on Monday to challenge the poll.
Trump further alleged that his observers were not allowed to witness the counting of ballots in Pennsylvania which handed Biden his final victory
