Iyeru inaugurated as Ogun PAM State Chairman

The erstwhile State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Comrade Akeem Abodurin, popularly called Iyeru was on Wednesday inaugurated as the State Chairman of newly created Parks Management Services Limited.

The inauguration which took place at the management Office in Ibara Housing Estate Abeokuta, saw the newly inaugurated Chairman calling on members to shun all vices that could tarnish the good image of the service.

Iyeru said the new outfit which was created in order to chart a new way forward for the transport Union urged members to continue conducting themselves as matured professionals.

His words, “I am indebted to our esteemed members, union chieftains in particular, who stood by us all the time even before this inauguration

"I am urging you to continue conducting yourselves as matured professionals. We’re not thugs. We’re professionals who are practicing our profession based on policy”. Iyeru said

He thanked the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his exploits in the transport sector saying that the PAM as a vital organ in transportation business will continue to partner government in the task of moving the State forward.

While specifically mentioning the peaceful manner in which the Union crisis was handled by the government, the newly inaugurated PAM State chairman said the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration will continue to enjoy the support of his members in the task of creating harmoniums relationship with all stakeholders.

He said PAM Alhaji Akeem Bodunrin fondly called Iyeru has therefore urged residents of the state to disregard rumour of possible outbreak of violence across the motor parks as no member of the transport union was contemplating such action that can undermine the existing peace across motor parks in the state.

Also inaugurated were other members of the  executives of the Service
