Infrastructural development: Ogun reassures residents more dividends of democracy

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has again reassured the people of the state more peoples' oriented projects under the present administration across the state


The Governor gave the reassurance while commissioning   of lock up shops at Ibese, Bathrooms and Toilets at Oja Odan as well as 500KVA by 33 Transformer all in Yewa North Local Government Council

Represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftain Affair, Hon. Afolabi Afuape,said  "During the electioneering campaign, we promised better Local Government that will be functional,not council that would just salary paying centre and that is exactly what is happening today

" We appreciate your support and we never take you for granted, that is why we are here to show appreciation, local government don't even have enough money to do projects, but we have to come to their aid, there is no local government that has not embarked on minimum of three projects across 20 local councils,this will give you 60 people oriented projects across the state "

Gov Dapo pointed out that his government has decided to wake up the third tie of government from their slumber and execute projects that would have direct impact on the people in general

Appreciating the State Governor for the financial support given to the 20 councils in the state,the Transition Committee Chairman Yewa North Local Government, Hon David Bankole commanded the Governor for the supportive roles and equitable distribution of dividend of democracy to nooks and craning of the state 

Bankole also appealed for continue support of the present government at all levels, and enjoyed the citizens of prompt payment of their taxes and levies 

On his own, former councillor of Igbogila/Ibese ward,Hon Afolabi Olugbenga thanked the state governor and the transition committee members for their good efforts and for transforming the infrastructures of the state,saying Gov Dapo led administration has brought tremendous development to the state and soliciting for rehabilitation of more roads in the state.
