The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta, has confirmed the death of an outpatient policeman who died as a result of coronavirus complication
The Center who on Saturday also confirmed two of its staff, a Nurse and an Administrative Officer and three other patients, of Coronavirus positive said the 'force man' died before the result of its test came out.
In a statement signed by Segun Orisajo, the image maker of the Center, said the deceased, a Force man presented in the General Outpatients department about three days ago. He later died same day.
Orisajo said the result of his test returned positive on Sunday morning.
"The body of the deceased is being prepared for release to his family for burial in strict compliance with World Health Organizations guidelines.
" All staff who came in contact with the deceased are currently on self isolation.
