Nollywood actor, Pa Kasumu, is dead

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kayode Odumosu, popularly known as Pa Kasumu is dead.

The President of the Theater Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, Mr Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin, confirmed Kasumu’s death.

Amusan said Kasumu died Sunday afternoon.

“Yes, he died this (Sunday) afternoon. He is a good man who lived an extraordinary life,” Amusan told The PUNCH on the telephone when contacted.

Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola, also described Kasumu’s death as regrettable.

Pa Kasumu’s health worsened in 2017 after he got back from a medical trip to India.

In a recent interview with The PUNCH, Kasumu had pleaded with Nigerians to keep praying for him, saying that his ailment was “spiritual”.
