Nigeria has recorded five new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the toll from 65 to 70.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in a tweet on Friday.
In its daily update, the centre said three cases of the virus were recorded in the federal capital territory (FCT) while two were recorded in Oyo.

As at 08:00 pm 27th March there are 70 cases of confirmed #COVID19 reported Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.
The FCT now has 14 cases of the disease. But Lagos still has the highest number with 44 cases. Oyo and Ogun have three each.
Ekiti, Edo, Osun and Rivers all have one coronavirus patient each, while Bauchi has two.
Nigeria recorded its first fatality from the disease on Monday — Suleiman Achimugu, former managing director of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC), who returned from the UK before his passing.
Three patients have recovered and have been discharged from hospital.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos state governor, on Friday, said six patients who have been receiving treatment for the disease have recovered and would be discharged soon.
