The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has assured citizens of Ogun West that his government would not neglect the region in its developmental plan of the state.
The Governor who gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen during the 50th birthday celebration of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the IBD Impex Limited and IBD Hotels, Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungboun in Ilaro recently, pointed out that no part or region of the state would be neglected, stating that his government would be fair and just to every region of the state and treat everyone equally not minding their religion or political affiliations.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Olufunmilayo Efuwape, the Governor said, "Ogun West is part of Ogun State and its also an industrial hub that needs government attention at all times. The present government in the state will be fair and just to every individuals and regions of the state not minding the political affiliations, religious, groups or associations. So, every region of the state will be treated equally".
The Governor while congratulating the celebrant for attaining golden age on earth advised him not to relent at contributing to the development of the state and humanity.
He called on other financially blessed individuals in the region to emulate the good gesture of the celebrant who according to him has contributed to the betterment of the society.
In the same vain, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland while congratulating the celebrant described him as a kind and generous person who contributed positively to many lives and development of Yewaland especially Ilaro.
Oba Olugbenle urged citizens of Yewaland to always pray for the celebrant and the Governor of the state to achieve success in office and give the Governor adequate supports needed to fulfil his electorate promises.
Appreciating the Governor, Obas and other guests at the event, the celebrant promised not to relent on his oars while assuring that he would continue to use his wealth for the development of the region and the state in general.
"I thank God Almighty for bringing me this far. God has been very wonderful in my life and my family. I want to thank the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his support and encouragement. Indeed the Governor is a Governor for all. I also appreciate the present of our royal fathers. I will like to use this opportunity to assure you all that I will not relent in contributing to the development of our dear state. I am from here and Ogun State is my state so, I have no choice than to continue to contribute to the growth and development of the state", Egungboun posited. ###
