As Nigeria celebrates 59th year of freedom from colonial master, a front line aspirant for the chairmanship position of Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) in Ogun State, Alhaji Shoyebi Rasaki otherwise known as Sholebo said with the programmes the present administration has put in place at both Federal and State level, the country will soon surmount its challenges.
Sholebo who mobilized over 10,000 members of the association to the mainbowl of the MKO Abiola stadium, Abeokuta, venue of State independence rally said with the programmes Prince Dapo Abiodun and President Mohammad Buhari has put in place, the State and Nigeria will soon be a pride of all.
The Chairmanship aspirant was a cynosure of all at the rally as the shout of Sholebo rented the air when the governor's carriage moved round the stadium to cheer the crowd, the governor could not resist the admiration as the crowd gave a voice endorsement of his candidature.
The crowd were shouting "Sholebo, o kajue, among others.
Sholebo said, despite numerous challenges, the nation is on a right path.
”On this October 1st, 2019, I congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Dapo Abiodun and all Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 59th Independence anniversary. There are those with the opinion that we have very little to celebrate and I will respectfully disagree with them. In 59 years, Our country has faced many challenges, but with the help of Allah, we have overcome many of those challenges and made progress in multiple spheres of human endeavour,” he said.
He thanked Gov. Abiodun for the tremendous support giving to the union.
"I want to specially thank Gov. Dapo Abiodun for his tremendous support. He is to be commended for the peace we are enjoying in Ogun state chapter of NURTW. Ogun NURTW is crisis free, there is no rancour in any of our motor parks," he submitted
