The Ipokia Youths Forum have given the Nigeria Customs Service Idiroko border command 72 hours to produce the hit and run officer who killed a pupil of Ojumo community High School, Ihunbo, Daniel Odusina to answer for his carelessness.
The youths gave the ultimatum shortly after visiting the parent of the deceased at their home in Ikorodu Asipa, in Ipokia area of Ogun state.
Speaking through their co-ordinator Deji Imoleayo, the youths also “demanded that all Unrecruited hired and unofficial officers (popularly called CAMPBOYS) of all security agencies and parastatals operating in border communities of the government be taken off the roads in the next 72 hours.”
“Failure to meet our demands for the stipulated time by the Nigeria Customs Service will be responded to with a ferocious engagement.” Imoleayo said.
The youths also visited the family of another student of the same Ojumo community High school, Miss Kikelomo Babalola who sustained serious degrees of injuries in the same accident at their home where she’s receiving treatment added further that these demands are to bring justice to the untimely termination of live of the promising Daniel Opeyemi as well serve as deterrent to other reckless officers of the Customs service in the border area.
