Relief, As Kwara Gov Rehabilitates Township Roads, More Towns, Villages Set To Benefit

Motorists and commuters plying Ilorin township roads will finally heave a sign of relief even as Kwara State Governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq had successful completed repairs of major roads and collapsed bridges in the state capital within his 100days in office.


Some of the roads ridden with potholes that had been fixed under the roads intervention by Kwara State Roads Maintenance Agency ( Kwarma ) in Ilorin metropolis include: Offa Garage Round about - Asa Dam - Geri Alimi roads; Olorunshogo - Geri Alimi Road; Yebumot Round about - Al-Hikmah - Adeta Road; Sawmill - General Hospital Road; Sanni Okin road; Isale Aluko - Kokorokan - Ita Kudimoh Roads; Osere - Cemetery Road;  Hajji Camp - Ilorin West Secretariat Road; Pipeline Road.

Others within Adewole Housing Estate are: Lagos Road, Benin Road, Gobir Road, Atiku Road, commencement of Kaduna Road, Commencement of Ogidi - Oloje Road, Adeta - Kuntu Road, Kuntu - Adabata - Agaka Junction Road, Commencement of Adeta - Pakata Road, Challenge Junction, DSS frontage, Post Office Round about, Unity Road, Unity Junction-  New Yidi - Asa Dam Road Junction.

Also in the list are; AbdulAzeez Attah Road, Frontage of Emir's Palace, Osere - Sawmill Garage Junction Road, Offa road ( CBN ) - Flower Garden Junction and Stadium Underpass.

Meanwhile, towns in other Local Government Areas would enjoy the next phase of massive Roads Rehabilitation beginning from this September.

Furthermore, Governor AbdulRahman has approved construction of Oke-Foma Bridge of which has reached 95% completion stage, Jengbe - Oloje Estate Road ( Under construction ), Bridge at Jengbe - Oloje Estate.

The Agency reassured residents of its readiness to make all roads motorable devoid of pot-holes within Kwara State with available resources.
