Ogun LP petition CP over alleged Perjury by Former Party Secretary

The Labour Party in Ogun State  has written a petition to the Commissioner of Police in the State  over the activities of a former Secretary of the Party, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday.


The Party alleged Oginni of Lying under Oath, Misleading The Election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Ogun to entertain fake claims and Impersonation.

It therefore called on the Police Commissioner to investigate the alleged perjury and criminal activities of Oginni.

 We are solicitors to the Labour Party Ogun State, hereinafter referred to called our client  and on whose behalf  we write this letter. 


Our client wishes to bring to your attention the infraction of law committed by some certain individuals led by Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday.


These individuals without the knowledge and authority of Labour Party in Ogun State filed an Election  petition on behalf of the Labour Party and in the petition these individuals ascribed various offices to  themselves. 


Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday impersonated the Secretary of the Labour Party in Ogun State and filed false affidavits on Oath 


More worrisome is the fact that this Oginni Olaposi Sunday misled the Election Petition Tribunal by this false Affidavit to have its petition listed on the Tribunal record, safe for the timely intervention of the authentic Executives of our client.


We therefore call on your exalted office to conduct proper investigation into the criminal activities of Oginni and his cohorts particularly as it relate to the issue of perjury and impersonation.


Find attached copies of the affidavit and the Election Petition filled by these Criminals without authority.
