The house of representatives candidate for Abeokuta South Federal constituency in the last national Assembly election, Hon Segun Williams has returned to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
Hon Segun Williams who contested for the House of representatives seat under the Labour Party, while speaking to newsmen on Sunday confirmed that he and thousands of his followers have decided to return to the Progressives fold based on the ideology the Party stands for.
It could be recalled that Hon Williams who was a member of the APC until last primaries of the Party, left for Labour Party to pursue his political ambition, but also lost his bid to return to the lower chamber of the national Assembly
Speaking to newsmen , Hon Williams said all his political life has always been with the progressives, and he will remain so, the unfortunate incidents that made him contested for house of representatives under LP has been laid to rest and I need to move ahead and join the fold of the progressives where I initially belong.
He vowed that his movement back to APC is total as he and his groups has vowed to work for the emergence of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the governor of Ogun State.
He said the experience Prince Dapo Abiodun has garnered as a private person and his business acumen is there to turn around the fortunes of the State.
He vowed to go out with full force to convince electorates on the reasons why Prince Dapo Abiodun of APC should be voted for on March 9 gubernatorial elections.
Hon Williams also appealed to his admirer's to vote enmass for all the candidates of APC in the next elections adding, if APC is given the chance again in Ogun State, the accelerated growth that the people is yearning for will be achieved within a shortest period.
