Two veteran politicians in Oyo state Dr.Olapade Agoro and former Governor of Oyo State,Senator Rashidi came hard on the Independent National Electoral Commission over the late postponement of the Presidential and national Assembly elections.
Senator Ladoja said in Ibadan that the action of INEC was a national embarrassment and has portrayed Nigeria as an unserious country which is not ready to do business with international communities padding thst the INEC National Chairman should be sacked
Agoro ,the factional leader of National Action Congress who is currently in legal tussle with INEC for recognising Rev.Ike King as the Presidential candidate of NAC said that time was ripe for the INEC boss to quit because of the postponement.
Both spoke yesterday in Ibadan the State capital on their reaction to the postponement of the elections.
Agoro said"That INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu took hurried but lacking good reasoning postponing the holding of the election with just few hours left to the start up time of same, however failing to follow the path of honour doing the necessary to say enough was enough throwing in the towel and quitting as Chairman of INEC
" For Nigeria Year 2019 will be a year of retributive justice and vengeance, therefore every body should be careful and watchful of unexpected dangers and lives threatening events. The outcome for Buhari and Atiku will not favour Nigeria.

As an addition to the mirage of expected happenings in Nigeria following the Postponed elections, care must be taken that we do not set our heritage aflame with an unplanned and un –researched domestic events.
Professor Professor Mahmood Yakubu has no business staying a day longer in INEC office in the interest of Nigeria a concern larger than him and or anybody ,he added.
Senator Ladoja condemned the development and recommended that the INEC leaders should be relieved of their duties because of their incompetece
"The police and army have mobilised. Everybody have been mobilised for the election. The electoral officers too and we are now saying the elections is cancelled....cancelled four hours to the election.
"Elections are supposed to be on at 8am and you cancelled it at 4am. It is a sad thing. Didn’t they know on Thursday that they were not ready? All along they have been telling people that the materials are ready and that the materials are deposited at CBN. Who are they deceiving? Themselves..
". I will wait and see what General Buhari will do. Because win or loose I will sack all of them particularly all of them at INEC headquarters because they are incompetent. The implication is that the whole world is not taking us seriously again.
"It took them four year's before they know that the elezction was going to be today. How many business men will take you seriously? You want business men to come from abroad when you cannot even predict and organise simple elections. Business is out prediction. Does it mean we cannot plan anything successfully in Nigeria? This is sad. A bunch of incompetent people are taking the country for a ride. I will sack the national leadership of INEC because they are the one doing it.
