2019: Cleric  Warns Politicians Against Hate Speech

Politicians have been advised to do away with hate speech and embrace decent campaign as the 2019 general elections gathers momentum.



Prophet Sam Olu Alo of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain who gave the advice said using abusive words during campaigns may cause disaffection among Nigerians and send wrong signals to the people.


The man of God said the church in conjunction with Adamimogo outreach will be organizing the 2019 edition of her prayer crusade with the theme:  Night of vengeance with Mercy.


Special prayers will be offered for Nigeria ahead of the election starting from the following selected seven states, namely: Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Lagos and Abuja (FCT).


The crusade, had kicked off in Akure, the Ondo state capital in January.


The Lagos programme holds on Saturday February, 9, 2019 at Oluwalogbon building Plot A Obafemi Awolowo Way,  Agindigbi ikeja, Lagos by 9pm.


The renowned cleric who urged Nigerians coming  to the Akure crusade to seek the mind of God concerning the impending election said the country will get over her numerous challenges by God's mercy.


“As 2019 political activities gather momentum, we appeal to politicians seeking elective offices to eschew hatred and bitterness, and promote courses that will promote peace, love and unity among Nigerians.


" We would have a successful election in 2019.But our political leaders and we the led must love one another, conduct ourselves in peaceful manners and do away with those things that cause division among us.


" We also need to move closer to God and run away from sin. It is necessary that we seek God's mind concerning the election and the country.


"2019 God has better plans for us as a nation. All we need to do is to put everything in His care, ask for mercy once again, seek love and love one another,"  she said.


Alo advised ministers of God in the country to always serve God with truth, in holiness and be contented with what they have in order to guard against false prophecy.


Other ministers of God expected at the Crusade are Pastor Olutope Adeyemo, Pastor Borode, Pastor Asonibare, Pastor Segun among others.


Lady Evangelists Yemi Adeola, Titilope Oludare, Evangelists Tope Aladewura, Olanrewaju Adebayo and Elijah Akintunde (A.K. A Olorun Ko So Be) and others will minister in songs.
