It was exclusively reported by an Online Media, TheCable, that Oshiomhole was grilled by DSS operatives for nine hours after some APC governors alleged that he received bribes during the party’s primary elections across the country.
According to a dependable source, some aggrieved Aspirants under the platform of APC were forced to write a petition to the DSS on allegation that Oshiomhole collected bribes to disfavor them.
The Aspirants who allegedly had the backings of Governors Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Rochas Okorocha of Imo asked DSS to investigate the allegation and compel the National Chairman to resign..
The Source told Our Correspondent that contrary to the request of the petitioners, the DSS only asked the Chairman few questions without showing him the copy of the petition.
"The Chairman only spent \One or Two hours with the DSS, You know that DSS can only investigate, they had no power to compel the Chairman to resign, it is only the Court that can do that" the Source added.
The DSS issue is one of the series of blackmail strategies adopted by few disgruntled individual to undermine the reform going on in the Party, But I can assure you that all their plans will fail as our Chairman is a man of integrity and of good conscience".
