The Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), has declared Ambassador Felix Johnson Osakwe as their preferred Presidential Candidate.
The declaration which took place at the National Secretariat of the Party in Abuja on Tuesday during National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, became a remarkable one with the announcement of the Presidential Candidate for the 2019 general elections.

He said that 40% of the 50% will be children of poor background adding that it is not only about equality but equity which will solve the menace caused by unemployment.
He pointed out that he will not get there to promise youths employment opportunities but to appoint 50% of the youths as ministers, DGs, Ambassadors, if elected as president in 2019 general election.
Osakwe noted that the only way to have a new Nigeria is to bring our youths together and be part of what we are doing not just promising them employment.
The UN Ambassador also told journalists that the only way to address all problems confronting the nation is by addressing the issue of restructuring by allowing State Police to operate.
He condemned the way Nigeria Police and the Army are being treated saying when they pay them good salaries, they will function very well.
Ambassador Felix Osakwe assured women that they will be number one in his list if elected as president.
He said the aim of bringing them into his government is for them to employ others who find it difficult to make ends meet.
