The Convener and National President of the group, Ashiru Moore, who made the call in a congratulatory letter by the group to Atiku, copy of which was made available to Our Correspondentq, also urged Atiku to follow the dictate of federal character and other affirmative action policies to help stabilize the country politically, socially and economically.
The letter reads, “With a heart of immense gratitude to almighty Allah we the members of (Waziri Atiku Youth) Way4Ward Empowerment Initiatives nationwide and in diaspora hereby congratulate our indefatigable principal, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (GCON) for a successful outing at the primaries held in Port Harcourt by winning the presidential ticket as the most desirable candidate to get Nigeria working again under the colorful umbrella of the People's Democratic Party PDP”
“With your emergence as the flag bearer of the PDP, all negativity and snares of opponents are rebuked. You are the choice of the Masses to take over the mantle of leadership of this great country come 2019. May you surmount all obstacles with ease. May the Almighty who started this journey with you see you through to Aso Rock”.
It added, “You are a man who believes in success and you are dedicated to it, you don't quit because you never get intimidated and that’s why you are victorious. The price of relentlessness is high, but so is the reward. In 2019 your reward is the seat of power in Aso Rock”.
“We are proud of you and what you have to offer the country - youth inclusiveness in governance, restructuring and dynamic economic growth across the country”.
The group also uses the medium to thank all the delegates who voted for Atiku at the primaries and the esteemed members of Way4Ward Empowerment Initiatives for their hard work and fervent prayers for our principal Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and for their undying support in the journey so far.
“It is our candid opinion that the true journey has just begun. Now is the time to garner our resources, time and strength to ride gallantly coordinating and mobilizing for greater and ultimate success alongside His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to take over as the next president of our dear country Nigeria. To get Nigeria working again come 2019”.
