A renowned Woman and Child rights activist Agnes Olusola was
reportedly stabbed to death by some hoodlums on her way back from a
seminar recently.
Late Agnes Olusola was the acting Convener of Comrade Abass Aderinsola
Abisola having recently assumed her post after de-facto convener Mrs.
Abass Aderinsola Abisola reportedly escaped series of attempted
assassinations from unidentified gunmen.
Members of the Mission to Save the Girl Child and Womanhood told our
Correspondent that the members have become easy targets for some
highly placed personalities who are opposed to the activities of the
association.
A senior Police Officer with Atan Police Division, who
spoke to Our Correspondent, said the matter is being investigated by
the Police.
He confirmed that efforts are on to bring the perpetrators to book.
