Isiaka extols Alake at 75

An African Democratic Congress, ADC gubernatorial aspirant in Ogun state, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka fondly called GNI has praised the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, HRM Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu the third, on the occasion of his 75th birthday anniversary.

In a statement personally signed by the two time gubernatorial candidate in the state, GNI extolled the virtues of the first class monarch, saying he is a worthy ruler and class act. He stated that he enjoys very warm relationship with the king and has benefited immensely from his wisdom and accommodation.

The statement reads in parts, "It has pleased God to spare the life of our father to witness a significant year on earth which is his 75th. Oba Gbadebo has been a blessing to the people of Egbaland and Ogun state in whole; especially the manner in which he has conducted himself on the throne".

"All his life, he has distinguished himself and pursued excellence. He is a consummate family man, refined soldier while in service with the Nigerian military, diligent entrepreneur, very active on the social scene and a sport enthusiast - golfing particularly".

According to Isiaka, the Alake has exhibited uncommon display of support for very laudable values that promotes a better and peaceful society. "He has always promoted peace among his subjects, very intolerant of societal ills and has been vocal on issues that affect the physical and economic development of his kingdom".

He stated further, "On a personal note, the monarch has been very accommodating of my person and has never failed to offer me very useful advice that has proven valuable. I celebrate and honour him today".

Isiaka prayed that Egbaland will continue to flourish under his rulership and that God in his infinite mercies will continue to keep the monarch in good health, sound mind and grant him the grace to witness more successful years on the throne of his forefathers.
