Former World champions, the Golden Eaglets, have emerged champions of the U17 Afcon qualifiers in Niger Republic.
The Nigerian lads defeated eternal rivals, Ghana, by 3-1 after the regulation time ended one-all.
The Many Garba-led side have qualified for the U17 Afcon slated to hold in Tanzania next year.
The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, in a statement promised the team a training camp in Jordan or Qatar.
Pinnick said: “Players like Nwankwo Kanu and Mikel John Obi, just to mention two, started properly and so were properly developed to stay longer in the game.”
