In continuation with her tour of local governments under the Ogun Central Senatorial District, Dr Mrs Bisola Sodipo Clark on Friday met with African Democratic Congress Chieftains and women leaders from Ewekoro Local government area of the State.
Also in the entourage are other aspirants for the Ogun Central Senatorial seat under ADC< they are Dr Femi Majekodunmi and Hon Titi Gomez.
Also some House of Assembly aspirants for the Party from the Local government were also on ground, they include Ogunyemi Ogundina, Ganiyu Popoola and Olumide Ezekiel.
Speaking at the party Secretariat in Ewekoro, Sodipo-Clark told some of the electorates the reason why they should vote ADC in all the elections come 2019 general elections saying that the Party has the great interest for the masses, hence will do everything possible to reduce poverty.
She warned the electorates to be wary of those they will vote for in the coming elections, urging them not to vote for people that will be sleeping at the plenar.
Clark revealed that ADC is a principle based Party and has interest for women developments.
“ADC is peoples’ Party, it is the only Party that cares for the masses, the women, the youths and the future of Our Children, it is therefore my desire to put all my resources in ensuring that the Party
wins all elective positions in the State and the Country, come 2019 general elections”.
She also appealed to all women to come out in their large numbers to mobilize support for the Party
Dr Sodipo Clark also used the opportunity to inform the political gathering her intention to contest for the Senatorial seat in the Central saying that her passion for the restoration of moral values and good governance made her to take the decision.
She therefore solicited for their supports adding that as a woman from a good background, and good etiquettes will never disappoint them.
Also speaking at the meeting, a former Commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the State, Aare Tunde Alabi called for commitment from the people, saying that ADC will never let them down if voted into power.
At the meeting were Chief Joju Fadairo, Are Tunde Alab, General Alani Akinrinade and many Chieftains of the Party from Ogun Central senatorial districts.
