An Ogun Central Senatorial Aspirant under the banner of African
Democratic Congress, (ADC), Dr Mrs Bisola Sodipo Clark, on Wednesday
met with supporters and leaders of the ADC in Ifo Local Government
area of the state to solicit their support for her ambition.
Sodipo Clark who defected to the Party with more than Five hundred of
her supporters few weeks ago also met with some artisans and market
women in the local government.
At the Party Secretariat in Ifo, Sodipo-Clark told party faithfuls and some of
the electorates the reason why they should vote ADC in all the
elections come 2019 general elections saying that the Party has the great interest for the masses, hence will do everything possible to
reduce poverty.
She revealed that she joined ADC based on the principle of the Party
and because of its agenda to give women a better chance to prove their
worth.
“ADC is peoples’ Party, it is the only Party that cares for the
masses, the women, the youths and the future of Our Children, it is
therefore my desire to put all my resources in ensuring that the Party
wins all elective positions in the State and the Country, come 2019
general elections”.
She also appealed to all women to come out in their large numbers to
mobilize support for the Party
Dr Sodipo Clark also used the avenue to tell the political gathering
her intention to contest for the Senatorial seat in the Central saying
that her passion for the restoration of moral values and good
governance made her to take the decision.
She therefore solicited for their supports adding that as a woman from
a good background, and good etiquettes will never disappoint them.
Also speaking at the meeting, a former Commissioner for Local
government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the State, Aare Tunde Alabi
called for commitment from the people, saying that ADC will never let
them down if voted into power.
At the meeting were Chief Joju Fadairo, Aare Tunde Alabi and many
Chieftains of the Party from Ogun Central senatorial districts.
