Association Calls on Ogun Govt to Employ Weight Lifter, Folarin

Ogun state Weight lifting Association wants Morufat Folarin an athlete of Ogun state Origin currently making Nigera proud at the 2018 African Youth Games in Algeria to be employed by Ogun state Sports Council to prevent other states from poaching her.

In a release issued and signed by the Spokeperson of the Association, Wale Oluokun, said the Chairman of the weight lifting Association in the State,  Seun Are-Ajayi while speaking on the three gold medals won by Morufat at the games said there was the need to encourage the athlete who is still unemployed for her to bring more laurel to Ogun state.
Also speaking Weight lifting Association Technical Adviser, Coach Ayaga Oduyebo noted that Morufat Folarin with three out of the six gold medals on day one of the game deserved to be an athlete with the sports council.

He noted that other states have started preparation for the coming National sports Festivals, hence the need for Ogun state to also start preparation.
Morufat Folarin currently unemployed trains at Ijeja Sports Centre dilapidated gym where she was invited to the national weight lifting Camp.
